The summer of 2026 has been marked by a major wave of new features and optimizations for PaneoVR.
Version 2.2 further improves PaneoVR 2. All users can now label interaction elements to make them easier to identify in the Diagram Editor and Player Editor (right-click the respective element).

Holders of an Education or Enterprise license can also use a special new feature: exporting individual PaneoVR scenarios as standalone applications (found under Open via the download icon).

Version 2.3 will finally introduce the much-anticipated feature for importing and using 3D models in late summer. This will also make it possible to place hotspots/interaction elements on documents/images and on 3D models.
Multiplayer will also be enhanced with better session controls.

We would also like to remind you about the ongoing civil protection competition, which runs until 30.11.2026. You can find all the details here: https://paneovr.net/call-for-immersive-scenarios/
